Contrastive Analysis of Four Equations Based on Creatinine or Cystatin C to Evaluate Glomerular Filtration Rate

Objective To adopt the common four equations based on serum creatinine or cystatin C,and compare the correlation between GFR through the calculation of the equation and r GFR measured by99mTc- DTPA to evaluate the applicability of the equation in chronic kidney disease and to further compare the application value of various equations in different causes of chronic kidney disease.Methods 346 first hospitalization patients with CKD through99mTc- DTPA renal dynamic imaging were selected from department of nephrology of Yiji Hospital from January 2011 to October 2014,the GFR value calculated by simplified MDRD equation and Cystatin C equation 2 ~ 4 and the GFR( r GFR) measured by99mTc- DTPA were compared and analyzed statistically. Results All e GFR and r GFR calculated by equations were highly correlated( P 0. 001),which had a higher value for staging diagnosis of patients with chronic kidney disease( CKD). Accuracy and precision of equation 3 were higher than those of others,GFR3 GFR2 GFR1 GFR4.Conclusion The precision of Cystatin C equation 3 is superior to the previous GFR evaluation ones,and has better applicability in different stages of CKD patients.
