Analysis of Antimicrobial Usage of Inpatients

Objective To provide reference for clinical rational drug use through analyzing the antimicrobial usage in our inpatients. Methods The usage of antimicrobial was analyzed by the amount of sorting,AUD,DDDc,sequence number ratio and use rate. Results The proportion of all,unrestricted,restricted and special antimicrobial drugs was 57. 50%,27. 67%,19. 91% and9. 92% respectively. The top 10 drugs in terms of sale amount were mainly the second,third generation cephalosporin,β- lactamase inhibitor and quinolones. The top 10 departments in terms of sale amount were mainl focused on y surgery. The use intensity of unrestricted,restricted and special antimicrobial was 53. 57,35. 24 and 5. 34 respectively. The use rate of all,unrestricted,restricted and special antimicrobial was 45. 89%,23. 63%,17. 29% and 4. 97% respectively. Conclusion The application and control of the antimicrobial in our hospital is reasonable according to the sale amount and department distribution,but the problem of overusing the same kinds of antimicrobial still remains in clinical medication.
