Effect of Supplementing Compound Vitamin B_2 and A on Reducing Lipid Peroxidation after Abdominal Surgery in Teenagers

Objective To study the effect of supplementing compound vitamin B_2 and A on reducing lipid peroxidation after abdominal surgery in teenagers. Methods 66 cases who were given abdominal surgeries in our hospital were divided into observation group and control group. The control group underwent abdominal surgeries and postoperative prophylactic anti-infective therapy,while the observation group was given vitamin A 30 000 U/d and compound vitamin B_21. 5 mg/d for 1 week on this basis. The level of SOD,GSH-PX,MDA,and T-AOC in the two groups before treatment and 1,3,5,7 days after treatment was detected and the adverse reactions and complications were analyzed. Results The level of SOD,GSH-PX,MDA,and T-AOC in the observation group reached the peak 1 day after operation,while that in the control group reached the peak 3 days after operation. The level of serum SOD,GSH-PX and T-AOC in the observation group all rose 5 and 7 days after treatment,and the level of serum MDA lowered.Compared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant( P0. 05). The incidence of deep vein thrombosis,abnormal liver function,and abnormal renal function in the observation group was lower than that in the control group( P0. 05). And there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of dizziness,gastrointestinal reaction,ascites and abdominal syndrome between the two groups( P0. 05). Conclusion Proper supplement of compound vitamin B_2 and A can reduce oxidative stress after abdominal surgery in teenagers,and prevent the damage to cells and tissues caused by peroxidation.
