Experimental Research on Separation Technology for Processing Molybdenum Ore Containing Talc

DONG Sui-zhen(Jinduicheng Molybdenum Mining Corporation,Huaxian,Shanxi,China)  
In order to provide reliable criteria for industrial test,a new separation technology for comprehensive recovery of valuable elements such as molybdenum,Zinc,iron and sulphur was examined on the basis of laboratory experimental research.The new separation technology includes selective reverse flotation to eliminate the interference of talc,then separating Mo and Zn,and recovering Fe(magnet).Test results showed that a concentrate assaying Mo 45.54%,Zn 48.07%,Fe 65.20% and S 38.75% was obtained,their recoveries are 82.29%,84.14%,53.46% and 60.42% respectively.
