Solid Phase Reduction of Chromium Slag and the Stability of the Reduced Slag

Both industrial wastes,R and S,were selected as reductive agent and stabilizing agent for chromium slag detoxifying during solid phase reduction.Effects of time,pH and temperature on the stability of the final detoxified slag were tested.The results showed that the leached Cr~(6+) was remained below 1.5mg/L of GB5085-1985 limits.The final detoxified slag disposal in air would be safe and stable.A kind of air brick was made of the final slag,carbide slag and phosphogypsum.
