Integrative Practice Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools:Dilemma,Causes and Solutions

Gao Xia;Chen Li;Tang Hanwei;Faculty of Education,Shandong Normal University;Faculty of Education,East China Normal University;
Superficial practice is a prominent dilemma in the current integrative practice activities in primary and secondary schools,which is mainly manifested in the marginalization of curriculum status,the fuzziness of curriculum objectives,the deintellectualization of curriculum contents and the nihilization of curriculum results.The reasons for this dilemma are the supremacy of subject curriculum,the universalized target orientation,the lack of awareness of curriculum integration,and the neglect of the role of curriculum evaluation.To this end,it is urgent to establish the status of the curriculum,set precise curriculum goals,transcend discipline boundaries,and improve the curriculum evaluation mechanism to ensure that the educational value of integrative practical activities is fully exerted.
