Design of Industrial Remote Monitoring Power Supply

A design of industrial remote monitoring Power Supply with high stablity, is proposed in this paper. The ultra low power 16 bit microcontroller MSP430F169 produced by TI company act as the main control chip of Power Supply, to collect the real-time information of voltage,current, temperature and to test the error state of Power Supply. Based on the Modbus protocol and RS485 bus, the collected information of Power Supply is sent to Host Computre. The data is analyzed, then, Host Computre send control commands to the main control chip which change the PWM waveform output of the drive circuit to correct the output voltage and current of Power Supply in time. After the test, the Power Supply sustainly and effectivly working in industry is realized.
