Construction on the‘Student-centered'Teaching Method in Food Hygiene and Safety Course

This paper discusses mainly application on the student-centered teaching method in Food Hygiene and safety course. In the light of problems existing in the teaching and practice of food hygiene and safety specialty, which was constructed from several major factors including the teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching methods and teaching evaluation methods. Student-centered and learning-centred studying method were emphasizes on. It was valued to establish the main position of students in the process of teaching and practice, cultivate students ' learning enthusiasm and initiative, improve their ability of self thinking and problem-solving, build up good relationship between teachers and students, so as to effectively improve the teaching quality of the course and promoting common development of teachers and students. The teaching mode was better than traditional teaching method.
