Characteristics of atmospheric CO_2 and CH_4 variation in the Waliguan area
WANG Ning-zhang;LI Ming;LI Bao-xin;Chinese Global Atmosphere Watch Baseline Observatory;
The atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane concentration data monitored online by the analyzer, Picarro G1301, is used to analyze the variation of CO_2 and CH_4 concentrations from 2009 to 2016 in the Waliguan Global Atmospheric Background Station. The results show that the atmospheric CO_2 and CH_4 background concentrations are increasing year by year and the annual average growth rates are 1. 9 and7. 5 ppb ·a-1 respectively. Both have obvious seasonal variation. The CO_2 concentration is significantly lower in summer and autumn than in winter and spring, while the highest value of CH_4 appeared in August and the lowest in February of each year.
