Quantitative Analysis of Research Literatures on Organic Farming Based on CNKI

The 5854 published literatures on plant nutrition searched from CNKI data from 1980 to 2016 were analyzed quantitatively in order to provide information for understanding the development of organic farming in China and reference for researchers, managers and editors. Results showed that the literature publication of organic farming was rapid, although the increase changes with different periods, which indicated organic farming subject involved good development. The published literatures published widely subjects and research levels, though which concentrated on groups agricultural economic and disciplines. Totally, the level of journal publishing papers of organic farming was not high. The highest citation of organic farming literatures was observed in those literatures published about 16 years. The author predicted that the number of papers on organic farming would change slowly in the next 5 years.
