An Investigation of the Relation between Suprasegmental Phonemes and Listening Comprehension in English Teaching

With the development of educational reforms, increasingly importance has been attached to the listening ability of university students. The conditions that the teaching of listening comprehension is neglected and lacks scientific method are now reversed. However, a lot of educators get half the result with twice the effort. To further enhance the listening ability of the learner, the attempts are made by a great amount of English teachers. This article, which is about the investigation of the relation of suprasegmental phonemes and listing comprehension, is aiming at improving the listening ability of English learner.
