Improvement on PDA Algorithm Based on Different False Measurement Distribution

The current PDA algorithm assumes that false measurements conform to uniform distribution in the tracking gate ,however that ’s not the case in fact. In this paper, an improvement of PDA algorithm is presented to discuss false measurement in tracking gate following the real distributions, including the uniform distribution, Ra-yleigh distribution and normal distribution. Meanwhile, the calculation formula for weighted gene under different distributions is given, and the improvement of PDA algorithm is more accurate and valid for target tracking in clutter.
