Detection of Two-dimensional Adaptive Cell Average CFAR

The detective performance of routine CA-CFAR and OS-CFAR detector declines badly when the AEW radar operating in the circumstances of multi-objectand strong interference occurred in the clutter background.A method of two-dimensional adaptive cell average CFAR(2D-ACA-CFAR) was proposed.By this method,the strong interference beyond delete-threshold was eliminated,and then the CA-CFAR detection was carried out.The result of simulation shows that it has good detective performance under the circumstances of multi-interference and strong interference.
