Objective To investigate the correlation between craniofacial structure and cervical vertebra posture of adult skeletal class Ⅲ malocclusion. Method Lateral cephalometric radiographs were taken for each 45 adult skeletal class Ⅲ malocclusion under natural head posture. Results Significant negative correlation was found between SN-VEL? SN-OPT? SN-CVT and SNA? SNB? SND? SNPo, and sigificant positive correlation was found between SN-VEL? SN-OPT? SN-CVT and SN-GoGn? SN-PP? SN-OP? NSGn in adult skeletal class Ⅲ malocclusion. Conclusion Craniofacial structure was correlated to cervical vertebra posture in adult skeletal class Ⅲ malocclusion.
