Study on the Failure Mechanism of Cataclastic Texture Rock Landslide in Xushuguan-Yangshan of Suzhou

The slope in the west of Xushuguan-Yangshan of Suzhou is a high and steep slope with the height difference of about 260m because of a long history of excavation.In particular,the fractured bedrock on the top is the most dangerous and surrounding people's safety is seriously threatened.This paper gives a comprehensive analysis of the formation conditions of bedrock landslide,the influence factors of stability,the evolution history and the failure mechanism from the perspectives of development history,lithology and external agents.Based on the analysis,conclusions can be drawn that the failure mechanism of this circular failure slope is mainly controlled by the free face in the front of landslide,the quartz porphyry dike which is a weak intercalation and the cataclastic rock structure formed by napped structure.The paper also puts forward a control plan of using slope cutting and lattice to support and retain the slope so that the disaster can be prevented effectively.
