Safety Analysis of Liquid Propellant Diffusion in a Limited Cylindricl Space

For the purpose of studying the diffusion pattern of the liquid propellant vapor and analyzing the danger of poisoning,firing and explosion,FLUENT software is used to numerically simulate the diffusion pattern of unsymmetrical dimethyl hydrazine(UDMH) vapor in a limited cylindrical space,analyze the concentration variation pattern of the toxic vapor with time,and calculate the toxic region where the concentration of UDMH is greater than 100 ppm and the possible region with firing and explosion.The simulation result shows that the toxic vapor diffusion and the danger of firing and explosion can be effectively reduced by promptly cutting off the pollution source and properly exhausting the vapor.
