Slope Displacement Analysis Based on Modified Janbu Slice Method

Traditional limit equilibrium method analyses slope stability under the assumption that points on the sliding surface have the same safety factor,but it can't forecast displacement of these points. Firstly,shear stressshear displacement hyperbolic curve model is established based on limit equilibrium theory and stress-strain model of Duncan-Chang in Modified Janbu slice method,and then compatibility equation of displacement is put forward.Secondly,related formulas are deduced,and some information about displacement of points on sliding surface,such as local force-based safety factors,displacement-based safety factors,shear displacement,slope crest displacement,is derived after calculating by Visual Basic language. Accordingly,the drawback of traditional limit equilibrium method will be made up. Finally,two examples,loading on top of slope and not,are analyzed,it is shown that the crest and foot of slope can be most probably damaged,and this is the same to the real case,recognizing this method at the same time.
