Application Path Analyse of Autogenous Medium Cyclone in Coal Separation

Based on the data of technical control, it can be affirmed that the separation action is the prime reason that lead to the higher ash of coarse coal in recovery with hydrocyclone. In this paper separation tests were carried out with autogenous medium cyclone on materials such as screen overflow of coarse coal, flotation tailing and -3mm refuse. The results indicate that: it is able to recover qualified product from coarse coal consist of few fine slime directly, middling from refuse and flotation tailing consist of more fine slime with autogenous medium cyclone. All the results indicated it is possible to use autogenous medium cyclone as corollary equipment with flotation in rough concentration or scavenger.
