Li Weizhong,et al.
24 dogs were used in this study. The shotgun defects of the mandible were produced by a 54 pistol, and then were repaired with a compound iliac bone graft 72 hours later. The healing process of graft bone were studied with plain X-ray films, his-tological and ultrastructural observations. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups.
