Stress Analysis of maxillary anchorage molar and its periodentium by three dimensional photoelastic method.

Objective This study was designed to analyse the stress and the instant Center of rotation of maxillary anchorage molar by anchorage bend.Methods three dimensional photoelastic method. Results The main biomechanical effect induced by anchorage bend were push force in horizon plane and bend moment in mesial distal plane, meanwhile rotation moment and pull force in dental Crown root direction found. The Center of rotation located in trifurcation area. Conclusion The stress of anchorage molar and its periodentium was not a singe force but a complex force.
