Objective:To compare the adaptation of porcelain fused-to-metal restorations made from Ni-Cr alloy﹑precious alloy and galvanized forming before and after piling porcelain, It can provide a certain theory guidance.Method:The silicone rubber was used to cement the three kinds of crowns on their dies. The mean thickness of silicone rubber after cementation were measured in vitro using stereomicroscope to compare adaptation of three kinds of crowns in different position before and after piling porcelain.Result:There were no significant difference in adaptation of same crowns between pro- and post- piling porcelain (P0.05), while there were significant difference in between Ni-Cr and precious alloy and between Ni-Cr alloy and galvano-ceramic crowns (P0.05).Conclusion:The process of piling porcelain has no influence on the adaptation of three kinds of crowns.
