Study on the developmental features of the mandible in children at age of 4-6 with severe retroclined deep overbite of deciduous anterior teeth after orthodontic treatment

Objective:To study the developmental features of the mandible in children at age of 4~6 with severe retroclined deep overbite of deciduous anterior teeth after orthodontic treatment.Method:Cephalometric analysis and stastical analysis of 15 patients with severe retroclined deep overbite of decidious anterior teeth before and after orthodontic treatment were made.Result:Compare with the control group,the retrusion,undergrowth tendency of mandible and the abnormal ratio of superoinferior facial height are much better.Conclusion:Early orthodontic treatment is necessary for mandible growth in patients with severe retroclined deep overbite of deciduouds anterior teeth.
