Clinical study on treatment of onycomycosis with sporanox

The authors treated 70 patients suffered from onycomycosis with sporanox. The cure rate of onychomycosis was 97.06%, and markedly improved rate was 2-94%, among 34 patients with onycomycosis of finger nails. The cure rate was 1.674%, markedly improved rate was 2.77%, and improved rate was 5.56%, among 36 patients with onycomycosis of toe nails. Sporanox has good therapeutic effect, shorter course of treatment, and mild side effects. The authors think that the drug is of value for clinical use.
