Incidental adrenal tumor

cases of incidental adrenal tumor diagnosised by CT or B-ultrasonography from 1990 to 1995 were reported in this article. Pathological diagnosis included conical adenoma in 4, myelolipoma in 3, cyst in 2, metastatic carcinoma in 1. Hormonal function has been present in 3 cases. The most of incidental adrenal tumors was benign and onofunctional tumor. several of them were malignant or functional tumor. Routine B-ultrasonography or CT of the adrenal glands was advised in lung carcinoma, and routine X-ray chest for the adrenal tumor. The treatment and follow-up observation on the cases with incidental adrenal tumor were discussed.
