Establishing a Finite Element Method for the Fracture Posterion Tooth

Objective:Establishing a finite-element model (FEM) of the fracture tooth of first premolar. Methods: The right maxillary first premolar in vitro was scanned and the image was processed. The three dimensional FEM of the fracture tooth of first premolar was been established by the special software. Results:The FEM of the fracture tooth of first premolar was bee established. The total number of elements and nodes created was 2024 and 2422. Conclusion: The FEM of the fracture tooth of first premolar can be established by computerized tomography(CT) and the FEM.
