Zhang Li,Qi Gang (Department of Pharmacology, Medical College of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces, Tianjin 300162)
AIMTo furnish theoretical evidence for clinical application of the transdermal iontophoretic ibuprofen delivery system. METHODS: The ibuprofen was given in different ways and the blood was collected from vein at different time and the concentration by re-versed-phase high performance liquid chromatographic method (HPLC). The bioequivalence and the pharmacokinetic parameters in plasma of ibuprofen given in different ways were compared. RESULTS: It was showed that the absorption rate of transdermal iontophoretic ibuprofen delivery system was faster than that of traditioral peroral mode. The AUC and the Cmax of the former was as 3. 7 times and 5 times as the latter respectively. CONCLUSION: It was indicated that the transdermal iontophoretic ibuprofen delivery system could replace traditonal "per os "mode as administration dosage.
