Population Migration and Its Management in Urban Areas

This article reviews the reasons of population growth in Chinas urban areas since 1978. The population growth in Chinas urban areas consists of population migration, population increase out of newlybuilt cities and natural population growth. Among them, the most influential is population migration. The key to population management in urban areas is to solve the problems out of population migration. Some new cities fail to deal with population migration and cause some social problems.
