An Analysis the effects of Immigrants' Occupation Structure on Local Social and Economic Development

Since the reform and open policy China saw a rapid social and economic development.As one of the main social phenomena,the large scale and intensity of migration during this age attracts the interests of many scholars.Though there are many literatures of the effects of migration on local development,most of them are qualitative analysis.Even there are few literatures with quantitative analysis,their methods are simple.Based on the data of 2000's population census and 2001's statistical annual,and with quantitative analysis,this article studies the impacts of immigrants of different occupations on local economic and social development as an enrichment and a further probe of new method in this research field.
