Analysis of the Factors Influencing Floating Population's Living Inclination in the Urban

The factors which influence floating population's living inclination to in the urban are complicated.The paper first demonstrates the overall frames of the study,then applies the data from a sampling survey of the floating population at Minhang District of Shanghai in 2005 to further the study.It shows the most important variable is income level,and the urban magnetism,family and marriage status and individual characteristics also affect their living inclination obviously.Previous studies tends to ignore the complex interrelation and interaction of these influence variables,and this study shows most obvious interactions happen among education,registration system,occupation,income and social integration.
