Pathogens and Its Isolates Inducing Virus Disease in Hot Peppers round Chongqing Municipality Areas

Pathogens and their isolates inducing virus disease in hot pepers (capsicum annuum L) round Chongqing Municipality areas were investigated in the field from 1996~2000. Results have indicated the pathogens are CMV and TMV,their infestation rate determined is 32.3% and 7.5% respectively for CMV and TMV and the complex infestation for the two is 46.7%. The isolates identified are TMV—POM,CMV—POM and CMV—PmM. And their dynamic change in the field is well understood.
