Direct Fuzzy Backstepping Control for Turbine Main Steam Valve of Multi-machine Power System

The transient stability problem on multi-machine power system was studied by the means of backstepping control and direct fuzzy logic method.Since the process of the controller design has been without any linearization,the nonlinear property of the dynamic is preserved.And fuzzy logic system was used to approximate the unknown function.For the system state variables were verified to be all bounded based on Lyapunov theory,the complete system was of stability.Both systems were simulated with MATLAB.The simulated result shows that the controller designed hereby is able to cause the system to reach stability.
