Longitudinal Vibration of Thick walled Tubes Jin Changyi; Chen Ruyi; Zhao Xusheng
Based on Loves supposition about the lateral velocity of a lever longitudinal vibration, the basic equation of a lever longitudinal vibration is derived. Having considered the concrete initial condition and boundary condition, the authors obtain the solution of the equation. If the influence of cross section size and Poisson ratio is considered in the natural motion frequency of a thick walled tube, the solution is more accurate than the conventional ones.
