Development and application of LQSR energy saving sulphur recovery tail gas treatment technology

Based on the successful development of LSH-02 low-temperature tail gas hydrogenation catalyst,the LQSR energysaving sulphur recovery exhaust treatment package has been developed via simplifying the heating method of tail gas at the hydrogenation reactor inlet.The Clause exhaust is reheated by the self-produced medium pressure steam from the unit.The technology has been industrialized on 2 × 70 kt/a sulphur recovery units.The results show that all the parameters of the unit are operating normally.The total sulphur recovery rate is over 99. 94% and the concentration of SO_2 in emitted tail gas is less than 100 mg/m~3,which meets the design requirements.
