Review on Numerical Models of Transfer Between Soil Water and Salt

Soil water is a linkage of surface water and groundwater. It is of great significance in formation, transformation and consumption of the water resources, which closely relates to agriculture, hydrology and environment etc. So study on the processes of transfer between the soil water and salt contributes to develop simple and applicable mathematic models to guide utilization of the saline-alkali soil. In this paper, three numerical models to simulate process of transfer between the soil water and salt are compared and discussed, which are finite volume model, finite differential model and finite element model.
