Investigation and analysis of soil fertility of urban greenbelts in Yinchuan

After testing 22 soil samples for pH,organic matter,available nitrogen,available phosphorus and potassium content,collected from three main types of urban greenbelts in Yinchuan,the paper analyzed the soil fertility conditions.The results showed that soil pH values were a little high indicating that the soil was saline alkaline,but the soil organic matter and potassium content were low,and soil available nitrogen content was less than 60mg/kg which was seriously low,while available phosphorus content in the soil was at the middle level.All 22 soil samples were classified into five cluster groups using cluster analysis method,and the fertility condition of special use and attached greenbelts were better than those of public greenbelts.
