Effects of the diet with different energy levels on indices of rumen milieu interne of Zhongwei Goat

pH value of rumen fluid is one of the most important indicators reflecting rumen milieu interne suitable and stable.The pH levels of rumen fluid were largely influenced by the type of carbohydrate,feed intake and the degradation rate of feed.Fermentation rates and results of carbohydrates with different types and structures of were different.Fermentation rates of non-structural carbohydrates(such as starch,sugar and pectin,etc.) were commonly faster than those of structural carbohydrates.Besides providing energy,propionic acid from VFA was a major precursor for ruminants to synthesize glucose.Acetic acid and butyric acid was a major precursor for ruminants to synthesize fat.The rumen fluid was gathered from the test sheep with rumen fistula.Analysis of different energy levels of diets on the pH,NH3-N and VFA of rumen fluid of Zhongwei Goat provided the basis for the raising standards of Zhongwei Gopat.
