ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE BEAM STRENTHENED WITH CARBON FIBER REINFORCED PLASTICS BY USING FORCE METHOD

Based on the structural and material properties of the concrete beam strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), a mechanics model is proposed, taking CFRP as a series of chain poles on the strengthened beam. And it is also analyzed by using the Force Method. A coefficient Kf is put forward and studied in this paper.
