Study on prevention and control of broadleaf weeds in wheat fields by affinity

The experiments of applying affinity 40DF to prevent and control broadleaf weeds in wheat fields were conducted from 1998 to 2000.The results showed that affinity 40DF has excellent effects on the common broadleaf weeds such as Galium aparine,Capsella burapastoris, Descurania sophina and Convolvulus arvensis.Its effectiveness was hardly affected by weather or temperature.The feasible dosage was 30 grams per hectare when the main species of weeds were Gapium aparine, Capsella burapastoris, Descurania sophina,the dosage was 45 grams per hectare when the weeds were Veronica didyma, Brassica calpestris, Silene conoidea,and the dosage was 60 grams per hectare when the weeds were Euphorbia helioscopia, Vicia sativa, Lithospermum arvense .The appropriate period for spraying was from three leaf period of the wheat to the period when it turns green after winter.
