The impacts of ultrasonication on the vacuum residual viscosity were studied at different treatment conditions. The optimized treatment conditions with the vacuum residual viscosity as index were determined by the orthogonal experiments, range analysis and variance analysis. The result showed that the impact of ultrasonic treatment time on the vacuum residual viscosity is the most significant in the three factors and has little impact on the experimental errors. Within the experimental design conditions, the ultrasonic treatment conditions of ultrasonic time of 70 minutes, ultrasonic power of 750 W and ultrasonic temperature of 70 ℃ are optimal for the maximum vacuum residual viscosity reduction.
