YAN Mengwei;
Marx's theory of freedom not only confirms human's essence of freedom according to the activities of human life activity, i.e., labor, but also points out that human's essence of freedom is a continuous historical process of actualization.The capitalist mode of production is an important historical stage of the realization of human freedom and equality, but it is not the ultimate stage or the ultimate form. However, Marx believed that the capital's development will create the conditions and possibilities for the higher social form of the "realm of freedom ". In the "realm of freedom", with the development of science and technology, the time of direct labor will be greatly reduced, and the free time will be increased. In the free time, people can engage in the activities which embody human's essence of freedom and his ability.
