The retrospect and prospect that study on the theory of ability-management

The theory of competence-based management, the result of further studying and developing of the theory of modern management,is the need of construction to adapt to the socialist market economy.It has necessity and practical significance.The paper coordinated the artery of the research of competence-based management theory,and point out that it is the continuation and stretching of capital managing theory to the person managing theory, being development of human resources theory.It is the kind of inevitable trend of the progressive of management theory that based on knowledge-economy background.Finally it discussed the primal problem that competence-based management theory needs solving.
