A Bandgap Voltage Reference Source for CMOS Analog-to-Digital Converter

A bandgap voltage reference source for CMOS analog-to-digital converter(ADC) was presented.The circuit eliminates the limitation of offset and power supply rejection ratio(PSRR) of the operational amplifier in conventional bandgap voltage reference sources.It has very high precision and preferable PSRR.SMIC's 0.35 μm N-well CMOS process was used for the circuit.Results from HSPICE simulation showed that the circuit,while operating at 3.3V,had a temperature coefficient of 2.4×10-6 V/℃ in the temperature range from-40 ℃ to 125 ℃ and a PSRR of 88 dB at 1 kHz,with a power consumption of 0.12 mW.
