A High Linearity Phase Interpolation Circuit

A high-linearity phase interpolation circuit was presented. The operating principle of phase interpolation circuit was analyzed and a traditional structure was introduced.Then,a structure with high-linearity phase interpolation was proposed.The circuit was implemented in TSMC 90 nm CMOS process.Post simulation results showed that the proposed phase interpolation circuit had a good linearity.The layout of the total circuit occupied an area of(155×368)μm~2 whereas the core took up(63×114)μm~2.The phase interpolation circuit consumed 3.12 mW at a supply of 1.2V.
