Finite element analysis of static and dynamic performance for milling machine fixture based on Hyper Mesh

Taking the structure of a milling machine fixture as research object, the finite element calculation model of the structure was established. The static analysis was made at the working situation of the milling machine fixture, the stress, displacement and static stiffness were obtained. Also, the natural frequency and vibration mode were obtained after dynamic analysis. It has proved that the rational design of the fixture could meet the work requirements. Furthermore, the weak link was found out, which provided the basis for the optimization of the fixture structure.
