Optimization and Application of Dry Fog Dust Removal System

In order to improve the dust removal efficiency of dry fog nozzles in the underground workplace,the atomization characteristics of dry fog nozzles were studied experimentally. Then we obtained the relationship between the mean particle size of the droplet and the flow of gas and water,and determined the optimal working parameters. At the same time,a similar model of roadway is established, and the experiment of spraying dust is carried out. The results have shown that: The efficiency of dust reduction increases first and then decreases with the increase of water flow. The greater the gas flow,the higher the efficiency of the dry fog nozzle. However,the greater the wind speed in the roadway, the lower the efficiency of the dry fog nozzle. Combined with the experimental results and the actual situation of the site,a dry fog dust system is designed for tape transport transfer point,and achieved good field application effect.
