Stem Rot Occurrence and Prevention Measures of Impatiens wallerana

In order to ensure the ornamental quality and economic benefits of Impatiens wallerana with stem rot,control measures were provided for horticultural producers.Took open field cultivation of Impatiens wallerana in Beijing as an example,based on experiences in production practice and the results of other researches,The pathogenic bacteria of stem rot and their characteristics,disease symptoms,pathogenic regularity and characteristics were analyzed and discussed.Finally,a set of effective comprehensive control measures were put forward:Improving characteristics,strengthening cultivation and maintenance management,strengthening nursery environmental management and chemical control.Years of production practice has proved that this scheme can effectively avoid the influence of stem rot disease on the ornamental value and economic benefits of Impatiens wallerana,and the yield of Impatiens wallerana could reached at more than95%.It was easy to operate,popularize and invest,even in ordinary open field cultivation.
