Experiment study on fire prevention and flame retardant performances of high water backfill material

In order to study the fire prevention and control features of the high water backfill material and to promote the application of the material to the mine fire prevention and control area,according to the flame retardant performances of the high water backfill material and the conventional loess material,a comparison experiment study was conducted and the flame retardant effect and function mechanism were analyzed.The comparison experiment showed that the high water backfill material would have a certain restrained effect to the oxidation and temperature rising rate of the coal spontaneous combustion during the coal spontaneous combustion and oxidation process and the indicated gas(CO、CO_2 and C_2H_4) generation rater from the oxidation.Under the same water and cement ratio,the high water backfill material would have higher coal spontaneous combustion and oxidation restrained effect than the loess material.The combined practices and application of the fire prevention and control engineering showed that the flame retardant effect of the high water backfill material was better than the loess material,and the high water backfill material would fully replace the loess material as the backfill material of the mine fire prevention and control.
