Application and comparison of two different method for humeral shaft fractures

Objective: To compare the therapeutic effects and clinical application of two different method for humeral shaft fractures.Methods: 120 cases of humeral shaft fractures were randomized into the observative group and the comparative group,each group contains 60 cases,the observative group use manual reduction and Cedar skin clamping plank fixation for the treatment,the comparative group use open reduction surgery and dynamic compression plate fixation for the treatment.Results: the observative group'total effectiveness is 91.67%,the comparative group'total effectiveness is 93.34%.Two group of comparison difference non-statistics significance(P0.05).Conclusions: manual reduction and Cedar skin clamping plank fixation for humeral shaft fractures is a simple,safe,effective and the low expense method of treatment.
