The Analysis of Related Factors in Elderly Falls and Cardiovascular-cerebrovascular Diseases

Objective: To analyse the related factors in elderly falls and cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease.Methods The 356 patients over the age of 60 in our hospital were divided into the fall group and non-fall group.We conducted a questionnaire survey of the two groups of patients for sex,age,weight,height and places of residence,and checked their mental status,balance function and disease state.We did a Multi-factor analysis to explore relevance between elderly falls and the cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease so as to control risky factors and prevent the occurrence of falls.Results The incidence of elderly falls was 53.3%.comparing the fall group and non-fall group,there were no significant differences in the age,sex,weight and height(p0.05);there were notable differences in a solitary existence,balancing decreases and intelligent abnormality(p 0.05);and it was related to the cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease(P0.05).Conclusion The elderly fall incidence is high.Falls are related to many factors,and the cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease is the most risky factor.Therefore,attention should be paid to causes of falls to control the cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease in time before preventing occurrence of falls.
