Evaluation on the wind power capacity of regional power grid based on enumeration method

In order to assess the wind power capacity of regional power grid accurately,this paper proposes a assessment system based on grid peaking capacity constraints, static security constraints and transient stability constraints. Considering large scale wind power connecting to the grid will impact on the power system, this paper firstly uses the stochastic production simulation technology to assess the system reserve capacity demand after wind power connecting to the grid, and correct the regional power grid wind power capacity under the traditional peak load capacity constraint. In order to improve the deficiency of traditional static security constraint evaluation method, using the DPL script of DIg SILENT platform to execute load flow calculation of every access capacity combination that may occur at each access point, and achieve the global optimization. With wind power capacity of each access point confirmed, common large disturbance conditions are set and verified by electromechanical transient simulation. Finally, the maximum wind power acceptance capability of the whole area is obtained,which satisfies the transient stability constraints.
